Resolution Passes at AOBC Shareholder Meeting!
As previously reported, Metro IAF leaders gathered in Chicago, Cleveland, and Connecticut to listen in on the virtual shareholder meeting of American Outdoor Brands Corp (AOBC also known as Smith & Wesson) on Tuesday, September 25th. Working with our allies at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility, the Do Not Stand Idly By campaign backed a resolution calling on the company to report to its shareholders in 2019 on the liability and repetitional risks of its products being used in incidents of gun violence and on its efforts to research and develop safer gun products and technologies.
